Ana Kasparian is an American political commentator, journalist, and media host best known as the longtime co-host and executive producer of The Young Turks, one of the largest online progressive news networks. A former CBS Radio staffer and journalism lecturer at California State University, Northridge, she has more recently described her politics as independent and "politically homeless" amid shifting views on issues like crime and homelessness.

Kasparian remains co-host and executive producer of The Young Turks as of 2026, but she no longer identifies with the progressive left the network is known for. In late 2024 she publicly disavowed the progressive movement and the Democratic Party, declaring herself politically "unaligned," and she now writes a Substack of the same name chronicling that realignment.
