Owens remains on the political right but now operates outside its mainstream, running her daily Candace podcast independently since The Daily Wire dismissed her in March 2024 following comments widely characterized as antisemitic and a public rift with Ben Shapiro. She retains a large right-leaning audience but now operates independently of major conservative institutions, defined by anti-establishment and anti-Israel positioning rather than party loyalty.
